Gajar halwa also known as Carrot halwa is a famous Indian desserts. You can prepare Gajjar ka halwa at home very easily. Learn the easy recipe of gazar ka halwa.
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Carrots
- 1 litre Milk
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom seeds
- 3/4 cup Water
- 3 tablespoons Ghee
- 2 tablespoons Raisins
- 2 tablespoons Almonds
- 2 tablespoons Pistachios
- 450 grams Sugar
Preparation
- Wash and grate the carrots. Soak the raisins in water for 30 minutes. Blanch and shred the nuts.
- Put the water to boil, when it starts boiling add the grated carrots. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
- Add the milk. Cook on a low flame for 1 hour stirring occasionally. Add sugar, mix well and cook till the sugar has dissolved and all the milk has been absorbed.
- Add ghee and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the slightly crushed cardamoms and the raisins. Mix well.
- Remove the gajjar halwa from heat and arrange in a serving dish. Garnish with almonds and pistachios. Serve cold, hot or at room temperature.

- 50gms French beans
- 3-4 carrots
- 1 small cabbage
- 100gms Broccoli (cut into florets)
- 1 Capsicum

- 1 Tomato (cut into thin rings)
- 2 green chilies(slit vertically)
- Finely Chopped coriander leaves
- 1 lemon juice
- Black pepper powder to taste
Preparation:
- Cut and Steam the vegetables.
- Add tomatoes, green chilies salt, pepper powder and lemon juice, and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.

Palak Pakora is a very famous Indian chat. You can prepare this snack very easily. Learn about how to prepare Palak Pakora.
Ingredients:
- 10-12 spinach leaves (palak)
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp red chilly powder (lal mirch)
- 1 tsp roasted cumin powder (bhuna jeera)
- curd (dahi) as required
- tamarind sauce (imli ki chutney)
- oil for frying
How to make Palak Pakora Chaat:
- Wash spinach well.
- Mix salt and 1/2 tsp red chilly powder in it and make a thick batter with water.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Dip spinach leaves in gram flour batter and fry them in oil until they turn brown.
- Beat curd and add salt to it.
- Dip spinach pakoras in curd and take them out in a plate.
- Sprinkle red chilly powder, cumin seeds and chutney on these.
- Serve them immediately.

Burger is the popular breakfast recipe. With this article we are offering easy recipe from whole wheat.
Ingredients:
- Mixed vegetables 3 cups.
- Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp.
- Whole wheat or plain flour 1 tbsp.
- Coriander 1 tbsp.
- Green chilli 1.
- Oil 1 tbsp.
- Salt to taste.
- Brown bread buns 6.
- Tomato slices 12.
- Lettuce leaves 12.
- Onion slices (optional) 6.
- Tomato ketchup 2 tsp.
- Mixed with chilli sauce 1 tsp (optional).
- Mustard to taste.
How to make whole wheat burgers:
- Chop the mixed vegetables, green chillies and coriander finely.
- For the cutlets:
- Heat the oil and add the vegetables (carrots, cabbage, cauliflower, potatoes, French beans), turmeric and salt. Cover and cook on a slow flame until the vegetables are cooked.
- Sprinkle the flour on the vegetables, mix and cook again for a few minutes.
- Mash the vegetables lightly. Add the coriander and green chilli, mix well and shape into 16 cutlets.
- Brush a non-stick frying pan lightly with oil and cook each cutlet on both sides. If you like, you can roll into wholemeal bread crumbs before cooking.
- Slice each bun into two.
- On each cut portion of each bun, apply a little mustard, a little tomato ketchup and firstly arrange 2 lettuce leaves, then one cutlet, one onion slice and two tomato slices.
- Decorate with cress and serve hot.
